Bringing You Our Week In Review – No Fooling!
We made it through another awesome week here at Mom’s Lifesavers – or should we say, “Everything is Awesome!” (to the tune of The LEGO Movie of course) here at Mom’s Lifesaver Week in Review 4-6-14!
We welcomed April Fools Day with fake eggs and candy peas and carrots. Did you play any pranks on anyone?
Opening Day at Fenway Park is the unofficial first day of spring in New England. This year LEGOLAND Discovery Center Boston helped celebrate the occasion with an unveiling of a LEGO replica of Fenway Park. The replica has 800 MINI figures in it! Opening Day at Fenway Park + LEGO = Everything is Awesome! Check out the time-lapse video on how it was made here.
The Original Loom Boom provided us with a Loom Boom to giveaway as we celebrate the first annual Loomy Awards. Let’s talk small, really small. How about the Nano Days at the Museum of Science? It’s the Biggest Event for the Smallest of Science. The Museum of Science offers a chance to imagine, discover and explore a world that is too small to see . Example: A sheet of paper is about 200,000 nanometers thick.
When you plan your visit, check out the Amazing Nano Brothers Juggling Show – Upcoming dates are April 12 and 19 and May 3 and 10. “In The Amazing nano Brothers Juggling Show, virtuoso performers Dan Foley and Joel Harris provide a comic and unforgettable introduction to atoms, molecules, and nonoscale forces while juggling everything from baseball bats to potted plants – even while atop seven-foot unicyles!” – 2014 Performance Schedule www.mos.org
