Party Favor Ideas for Preschool to Kindergarten

February 3, 2008 By: Christinecomment

Party Favors (proven hits over the years!)

• Personalized stickers, magnets and buttons with your child’s name on them (from www.birthdayinabox.com)

• Small items like stickers, small plastic toys, wrapped candy or snack, decorative pencils, and bubbles are proven winners.

• Give each child a balloon with a small plush animals tied to the bottom to secure the balloon from floating off – it’s a party decoration AND a take home party favor.

• Select items that relate to the theme as much as possible. For example, if the party has a cowboy theme, present all the children with a bandana, cowboy hat, and sheriff badge to keep.

• Coordinate a treasure hunt for treat bags. Decorate each bag with a different set of stickers, and put one corresponding sticker on an index card. Hand children a card and have them find the treat bag that matches. This not only provides an extra activity at the party, it emphasizes the fun of the hunt, verses what’s IN the bag.
