This week I sure felt the love! When you have your own little business…in the cut throat job of publishing…one tends to get discouraged when you have a “dry” spell and the books you have under your feet are just yearning to make it into the lap of a mommy somewhere, somehow.
This week I got a BIG order from MAGIC BEANS in Boston! I don’t have to say it, but they’re THE best store for wee ones in the state of Massachusetts, if not beyond. Their order really makes my heart sing because this is their second order after testing the book out in their three stores and I guess the book PASSED!! Oh, what joy!
Another awesome connection I have is with the owner of Presentbydesign.com. She and I have become very good friends after I found her to carry my book on her wildly successful website. She’s the mastermind behind the famous FORTUNE TOOTSIES. The must-have item all new babies need to have!
I have found that moms want to help other moms succeed in business, especially in these tenuous times of near recension. But in my world, moms continue to support each other in good times and bad…sharing their knowledge and business sense readily…more than I ever imagined. SO, if you are a mom with a passion, GO FOR IT. The journey is loads of fun because of the great moms you will meet along the way!! Thanks Magic Beans and Present by Design!
