We need your help to vote for Rhode Islands favorite food truck – Gotta Q BBQ truck. A few summers ago I was an art promoter in the Boston area. At that time, food trucks were starting to take hold and I had the opportunity to try several. I truly became a big fan of the mobile food truck movement. There’s something about it that truly encourages an entreprenour with dreams to get their food out there.
Mom’s Lifesavers was introduced to a New England based food truck called Gotta Q based out of Providence, RI via a Tweet. They reached out to us to help them spread the word and we couldn’t be happier to help out
Mobile Cuisine Contest 411
Mobile Cuisine is an online trade magazine for the mobile food industry. It has launched a contest to determine the best BBQ truck in the United States and Rhode Island’s Gotta Q is currently in 6th place…just shy of 5th place by 3 votes. Let’s do this!
Readers and influencers from the industry submitted almost 2,000 entries for the 2014 Food Truck BBQ Of The Year contest. To be eligible:
- the trucks had to have opened before 2014
- must regularly serve BBQ
- and serve the local community on a regular basis (this is so cool!)
Now 15 BBQ food trucks from around the country are looking to win – THE ONLY New England contender is GOTTA Q from Rhode Island! We need your help to help them win!
