Turkey Toenails are the perfect touch to your Thanksgiving table! This makes a great party favor for the kids table and certain to get a second glance, not to mention that this craft is the perfect way to use up that left over Halloween candy corn!

What you need:

  • Candy Corn – any variety or flavor will do!
  • Small jar with cover (we used one from our recycle bin)
  • Paint for the cover
  • Ribbon
  • Colored pencils
  • Hole Punch
  • Scissors

 Steps

Prepare your work surface. Since paint is being used, place newspaper or paint on top of a paper plate to keep the paint off of your table.

  1. Paint your jar cover and allow it to dry completely.
  2. Fill your clean, dry jar with candy corn.
  3. Print out Mom’s Lifesavers Turkey Toenail image and cut it out with scissors – this will be your tag.
  4. Using colored pencils or markers, color in the image.
  5. Using the hole punch, place a hole in the tag just to the left of the turkey’s head.
  6. Place the tag on the ribbon, and tie to covered jar.
  7. Enjoy!

We love sharing our Thanksgiving crafts with you!
