Pumpkin Lacing Cards – You Can Make It Too!

October 19, 2016 By: Bonniecomment

Pumpkin Lacing Cards Craft

Pumpkin Lacing Cards

Pumpkin Lacing Cards

This craft is so simple and such a hit with the little one. Pumpkin lacing cards are great for working those fine motor skills. We keep threading and lacing crafts in the car ‘busy box’ for alternatives to electronics on a long ride. With just a few supplies (that are inexpensive – bonus) you can make your very own set of Pumpkin lacing cards.

Super Easy & Inexpensive Great for motor skills!

Traditional lacing cards at specialty stores can be expensive – why not make your own seasonal cards? These Pumpkin Lacing Cards are the perfect little craft activity that takes little effort and money to make!

This craft is easy to make and perfect for little hands to play with – our kids loved using them in the car!

The supplies are simple to find too.

Supplies You’ll Need

  • Shaped paper plates – any seasonal plate will do but we found these cute jack-o-lantern plates at Target ($2 for a pack of 8)
  • Shoe laces – we found a package of 8 pairs of laces (that’s 16 lacing strings (yay!)) for $1 at DollarTree
  • Hole punch

Getting Started

  1. Using the hole punch, start on the edge of the plate and work your way around until you are back at your starting point.
  2. Your lacing cards are ready for action!
