Izzy & Oscar is a new picture book being released April 7, 2015 about a young girl and her pet octopus.

Growing up we all have some type of experience with pets, either in our own family or a friends, but did you ever know anyone who had a pet Octopus?

Meet Izzy, a young girl with a love of all things pirate who finds Oscar and decides to make him her pet. She quickly finds out that Oscar doesn’t act like a dog or a cat or even a bird. The illustrations by Tracy Dockray are sweet and colorful.
