Holiday Centerpiece DIY with Mom’s Lifesavers

Looking to add a little sparkle to your table this holiday season?

Here is a no fuss, easy DIY that you can easily change up the contents of. Our Holiday Centerpiece DIY was inspired by at trip to Dollar Tree. We used some glitter covered foam decorative balls that we found at Michaels craft store – but you could fill it with candy, sea glass, shells, confetti or just about any decorative accent that ties in with your decor and the season.

Supplies

  • Glass candlestick holder (Dollar Tree)
  • Glass vase (Dollar Tree)
  • Battery operated candle (Dollar Tree)
  • Goop (Home Depot)
  • Sparkly globe filler (Michaels)
  • Scrap of sand paper

Holiday Centerpiece DIY with Mom’s Lifesavers

  1. Using the sand paper rough/scratch up the top of the candlestick holder.
  2. Place a bead of Goop along the rim of the candlestick holder
  3. Use the sand paper now to rough/scratch up the base of the vase
  4. Place a bead of Goop around the base of the vase
  5. While the vase is still upside down, place the prepared candlestick holder on top of it and allow it to dry overnight

Once your centerpiece is completely dry, return it to it’s upright position and get ready to fill it! We used some sparkly foam decorative balls that we found at Michaels crafts. You could fill it with anything from peppermints to seashells – what ever suits your decor and the season! have fun with it.

Place the battery operated candle in the center and enjoy!
