Our family loves the tradition, fun and location of Funtown Splashtown in Saco, Maine.

We are especially happy to hear that they offer Military Appreciation Days to the men and women who have served our country.

“Active, Reserve and Retired members of the US Armed Forces are FREE into the park and members of their immediate family are HALF PRICE when proper ID is presented at the time of purchase.

Acceptable forms of proper ID include a valid photo military ID or a DD-214″ – www.funtownsplashtownusa.com

This MemorialDay Weekend, celebrate with your family at Northern New England’s largest family themed amusement and water park.

Rides We Love

Our family favorite thrill rides are:

  • Go carts (of course)
  • Dragon’s Decent
  • Excalibur wooden roller coaster
  • Thunder Falls log flume

There are also wonderful family rides – we always make time for the carousel, antique cars and roadsters – the classics are always fun!

Don’t forget the kiddie rides! Frog Hopper has been one of our daughter’s favorites for years.

Games and Amusements

We can’t leave without a visit to Skeeball Alley – classic wooden skee balls to roll to win prizes and stuffed animals. We can get a little competitive playing for tickets – it’s time to show off those skills to the next generation.

Our Last Stop

We always stop at the Sweet Tooth Candy Shoppe on our way out of the park. The perfect sweet stop to end our day.
