Simple Fun for Travel or Home

Our Paint Chip Color Match Game is perfect for indoors or out.
Do you need a quick and easy game to pull out of your purse at those times of need when you want to keep the kiddos busy and learning at the same time?  Check out this easy to put together game, you only need a few things to get started.
We love our walks in nature be it playing in the backyard or walking on a trail with the dogs. I am always trying to get the kids to look a little more closely at their surroundings and this game is perfect for that. I even save the ‘harder colors’ for the older kids. It helps them look a little harder at the details all around them.

Recipe for Fun

  • Paint chips from your local hardware store – grab a variety of colors!
  • Hole Punch
  • Binder Rings

Gather Up Your Supplies

  • Use a decorative punch to cut the individual paint chips into shapes
  • Punch a hole using a hole punch for each paint chip and add them to the ring
  • Make a few different rings, add them to the car, the diaper bag or backpack

 How To Play

It doesn’t get much simpler than this.  Close your eyes and select a paint chip. Now start looking. That’s right, look around the yard, the house, the play room or hiking trail. Can you find an object that matched your paint chip?
