Cavalia’s Odysseo Boston Review Update

August 17, 2013 By: Christinecomment

Dancing Horses UPDATE
This is a follow up post from our very popular blog post about Odysseo coming to Boston.

My husband was able to purchase VIP tickets for our daughter.  The two of them had the MOST wonderful time at the show.

It’s one of those lifetime memory makers! I was texted all night long about the show…it was as magical as the first show, but dare my husband say…EVEN BETTER.  I know that Boston is pretty sold out, but if you are in DC, Seattle or Vancouver.  Get tickets, quick!

Guest Blog Post by Kaia Cohen – age, 11

Hi, I’m Kaia, Christine’s daughter!

I had the most amazing trip to Somerville, Boston to see Odysso’s Cavalia yesterday.

Cavalia is a circus with 42 horses. They are all males and most of them are Stallions. (Stallions are the hardest to tame and train). It was absolutely breathtaking watching them gallop onstage with their rider practically dancing on top of them.

Thanks to my VIP passes and back “STALL” passes, (thank you, Mom and Dad!) it was even more magical. Being an equestrian myself, I see it totally different than people who don’t ride, I see it as horses dancing onstage, not a horse being smart and obeying the trainers orders, but as if it was put on this earth to entertain, and have people envy. In other words, the show was outstanding and I will NEVER EVER forget seeing those magical animals.

I usually hate watching animals be placed in a circus and being whipped or whatever cruel things people do to them, but I know these horses have a better life than all of us. ( LOL).

Thank you, Kaia for your wonderful writing! YOU ROCK!
