What a week it is. Winter is finally showing its face here in New England and just in time for two very big events at Fenway park this week.

Spring Training Truck Day

The ground hog may have it’s own ideas about when Spring starts but Red Sox fans know that the real sign of Spring is Truck Day at Fenway Park. That’s right, this Wednesday, February 10th the Red Sox equipment truck will be loaded and setting out to Spring Training at JetBlue Park in Fort Myers, Florida.  Loading will start around 7 in the morning and the truck is expected to leave around noon.

Wally the Green Monster and his sister Tessie, along with Fenway Ambassadors will be handing out JetBlue collectable baseball card schedules and tossing soft Red Sox baseballs to fans. The equipment truck will be leaving from Van Ness Street which is adjacent to Gate D.
