The Photo Studio
We have a covergirl in our house!
During our visit to Manhattan and the American Girl Store we stopped by the Photo Studio – what a great way to wrap up our visit and leave with a perfect souvenir.
The Photo Studio was located on the top floor of the Manhattan location – right next to it was the New York Souvenir shop (all within the store) – where we scooped up 2 matching shirts for the ‘girls’ for the photo shoot. TIP – If you do need a place to change – there is a dressing room located on that floor – how convenient!
TIP – You cannot make reservations for the Photo Studio – it is on a first come first serve basis
We were there around 11:00 – only 1 party ahead of us. There are multiple photographers and studios so it went pretty quickly for us.
There were several packages to choose from ranging from around $20 up to $35 – some were with a simple AG background, there was a birthday package and we went for the Magazine Cover.
Here the girls are in front of the green screen posing – I think there were 4 shots that we taken of different poses and then we were able to pick our favorite to put on the cover. The AG associate was so friendly and brought out the best in our American girl!
Moms Lifesavers – Following the photo shoot it took about 15 minutes until the finished product was ready – which of course gave us a few more minutes to shop and look around – there is so much to see!
