We are thrilled the Boston Red Sox are World Series Champions!

We have been hoping for this series success and feel so lucky to be Boston Strong.  After the bombings, Boston rallied behind our wonderful city to heal and get over those horrifying days after the Boston Marathon bombings.

The Red Sox win puts hope back in our hearts!

When we received these photos from our friends at Merlin Entertainment we just had to share it with our readers.

Merlin Entertainment is the world’s second biggest visitor attraction operator, which will include the LEGOLAND Discovery Center Boston.  They were inspired by Boston’s big win, and created the replica! It’s so awesome and you can see it in May 2014!

Details of the Construction

Constructed from more than 2,500 LEGO® bricks and featuring the 30 team flags, the trophy will be one of the iconic Boston-themed items displayed at LEGOLAND Discovery Center, which will be the first in New England when it opens May 2014 at Assembly Row in Somerville.

“The Red Sox have delivered such indelible memories for kids and adults alike this season, so we were excited to build a unique creation that will continue to celebrate the joy they brought to so many,” said Kelly Smith, Marketing Manager for LEGOLAND Discovery Center Boston.

Created by a Master Model Builder, the trophy weighs 9.75 pounds and took more than 80 hours to construct. LEGOLAND Discovery Center Boston will be hosting a contest in the coming weeks where fans can vote to determine which iconic Boston landmarks will be featured in its MINILAND exhibit.

 LEGOLAND® Discovery Center Boston – the 411

The 44,000-square-foot indoor attraction, geared toward children aged 3 to 10 and their families, will feature millions of LEGO® bricks and will offer a fun, highly interactive and educational two- to three-hour indoor experience. The attraction will feature interactive LEGO experiences, LEGO® Rides, LEGO® Studios 4D Cinema, LEGO® MINILAND featuring replicas of Boston landmarks made out of LEGO bricks, LEGO® Factory Tour and birthday rooms.
Mom’s Lifesavers had a wonderful time at the Ground Breaking for the new
 LEGOLAND® Discovery Center in Boston.
Take a look at our adventures recently!
Fenway Park also had us come on a private tour to see the family friendly bathrooms, take a look at our visit there this summer.
Special note of thanks! We are so thankful to Fenway Park and Merlin Entertainment for connecting us to wonderful family friendly venues in Boston.  Children really appreciate all you do!
