My teen daughter and I had our second overnight stay at the Sea Crest a few weeks ago. Check out our first review of this awesome hotel. The hotel is bustling with activity, yet there are so many places to go to relax and soak up the summer sun.

Our picture diary blog shares the quintessential Cape Cod vacation everyone needs to experience. The hotel’s location right on historic Old Silver Beach is what makes this hotel a very special resort. All attention is on the beach, but the hotel offers so much more.

Around Sea Crest Beach Hotel

Strolling around the grounds of this private hotel, you must gain access to resort through a gate and enter with a pass. Old Silver Beach is private and exclusive to hotel guests. The property is beautifully maintained with hydrangea, native beach grass and flowers. The property has many different accommodation options, perfect for couples all the way up to large family gatherings!

I’m a true beach bum so I can vouch how wonderful this beach is, especially for young family members. Since the beach is located on a bay, the ocean is calm and gentle. It’s a perfect beach to share your love of a beach with small children. Bigger kids love it too, because they can rent jet-skies and paddle boards next door to the resort! Don’t miss the outdoor bar and grill on the pool deck right off the beach!  Also, Sea Crest is home to New England’s only beachfront watersports rental and school. Jet skiing, windsurfing, paddle boarding, kayaking, pedal boating and more are right at guests’ fingertips. Sea Crest also offers daily family-friendly activities, including beach volleyball, aqua Zumba, and face painting.

The Pools – Indoor and Out!

The pool at Sea Crest Beach Hotel are very popular and perfect for every family member. The pool house has an indoor pool, kiddie pool and hot tub! This area is open to the outdoor pool, so families of all ages can stay together. I know from experience having multi-age children in vacation, parents are often separated and have a divide and conqueror strategy, not at Sea Crest. Younger children can enjoy the kiddie pool, while the older ones can be in the larger pool in the same area. If you have teens, they can be in the large outdoor pool steps away from the kiddie pool. This is excellent design. Right off the pool areas is a game room. I never saw it empty. Kids were congregating and playing games with each other! This is a great resort to let your older kids explore in a safe and fun environment.

For those seeking a break from the beach, guests can explore the Cape’s quintessential beauty with a run or bike ride through the Shining Sea Bike Trail. Providing access to Falmouth’s vibrant cultural arts scene, Sea Crest is just minutes away from the Cape Cod Museum of Art and the Cultural Center of Cape Cod.

Dinner at Red’s

I LOVE this restaurant. Its so nice to have an excellent restaurant steps from you room. We were seated in the best corner spot in the outdoor restaurant dining room, where we had a perfect vantage point for the spectacular sunset about to happen. This fun covered and enclosed deck is so much fun to dine in. I decided on a lobster roll and my daughter had salmon on a large salad! Both were perfect! The service was excellent. Very attentive and and experienced waitstaff.

The Sea Crest Beach Hotel is known for their sunsets! The serenity after and action packed day of fun is punctuated with a sunset that will move you, me to tears actually. The natural beauty of this spot is truly special.
