10 Things I Love About My Verizon Droid Turbo

I have never felt this way about a phone. I am truly in love with my Verizon Droid Turbo. Not only is it a phone (of course) but it has become my office on the go – everything at my fingertips – it’s love.

Hesitant

Was it love at first sight? Actually it was love at first sound. The clarity of the sound and the screen had me at ‘on’. Seeing is believing.

#1 The Screen

Turn on the Verizon Droid Turbo and it will show you in seconds just how stunning the colors, contrast and definition are on screen. It’s not just the good looks though, this screen is tough. It needs to be – all too often my phone is dropped, ending up on the driveway or the floor of the car – made of scratch-resistant Corning® Gorilla® Glass 3 screen it is ready to go where I go.

#2 Charge

A single charge is actually a turbo charge – one charge of only 15 minutes powers the phone for 8 hours – that’s huge for this mom on the go.

#3 Thin Profile

The thin profile of the Verizon Droid Turbo, even with a protective case on it, is sleek and slim, and fits perfectly in my back pocket – love it.

#4 Camera

I have owned SLR cameras that the Verizon Droid Turbo could go toe to toe with. With a 21 MP Camera with dual LED flash (double the flash means more light for better color and softer shadows) my pictures look amazing and capture detail like no other.  I recently took this picture of our dog Benji at the water – the sky, the clouds – it captured all the textures on such a gray day – I was amazed.

#5 Speed

They named it turbo for a reason – it boasts a  2.7 GHz speed processor. What does that mean? It’s fast, turbo fast. The searching, downloading, uploading, sending, sharing – it happens with lightening speed.

#6 Moto Knows Me

That’s right. Moto has become my personal assistant. Using voice commands I can post to social media, search, ask questions and get answers – yay. I am super impressed with the accuracy of the voice to text making true hands free a cinch. Moto knows more than my voice though. With a wave of my hand I can silence the phone or with a twist of my wrist  the camera opens automatically – how cool is that?

 #7 Water Resistant

How often do you worry about your phone getting wet? It is always on my mind – especially when I look over and see our youngest pouring a cup of juice and my phone is only inches from her (LOL) The Verizon Droid Turbo can withstand 20 minutes in a downpour – that’s longer than I want to be in the rain. The Verizon Droid Turbo puts me at ease to have my phone ‘out in the elements’.

#8 At My Fingertips

My Kindle books and magazines are at my fingertips – having my favorite reads at my finger tips without carrying an additional device is awesome especially while waiting for the kids carpool

#9 Memory

I can’t tell you how many times I used up all the storage memory on my other phones. I consistently had to upload my images and videos to make space for new ones. With ‘My InfoZone’ I know exactly how much of the 32GB storage memory is available

#10 There Is An App for That

It’s like being a kid in a candy store when I shop in the Amazon Apps store. Whether I am looking for the latest app to crop and caption my pictures or want to recreate my home office on my phone, there is an app for that.
