Celebrate School Vacation Week With Adventure-Themed Activities

What are your plans for school vacation week? Are you having a stay-cation in the area? Why not take a trip to Assembly Row in Somerville to experience LEGOLAND® Discovery Center Boston with the family?

We are a LEGO family – we even have a room dedicated to these bricks in our home. I am really looking forward to experiencing LEGOLAND Discovery Center Boston as a family and the kids and husband are looking forward to it too.

Christine and I were able to attend the grand opening last year – I can’t wait to see how Tessie, the LEGOLAND Discovery Center Boston giraffe is doing in all this snow. I’m looking forward to sharing our school vacation week adventure with you.

To celebrate Massachusetts school vacation week, February 16-20, LEGOLAND® Discovery Center Boston will be hosting special adventure-themed activities.

LEGO® Model Builder Academy

The LEGO® Model Builder Academy, which hosts workshops throughout the day, will feature space-themed builds where visitors can explore other galaxies and learn to build spaceships and aliens.

Story Time

Every weekday at 3 pm, a special story time will take place featuring a different adventure story like commanding a pirate ship or a child’s first visit to the boardwalk.

Adventure Themed Builds with Ian Coffey

LEGOLAND® Discovery Center Boston’s Master Model Builder, Ian Coffey (pictured above), will showcase his adventure-themed builds. One of the builds will be his Lake Placid ski jump model which he built to win his position as the Master Model Builder.

School Vacation Week Hours

LEGOLAND® Discovery Center Boston will have special vacation week hours: Monday through Saturday 10 am-9 pm and Sunday, 10 am-7 pm.
