Rock Art and Family Fun!

This weekend we went to the beach! Here in New England it’s still very cold and rainy, but the kids NEEDED to venture on the beach for some fresh air and mommy and daddy needed for them to just RUN and pick up rocks!
Of course, the beaches here are pretty rocky and we were able to find some really neat rocks…the girls wanted to bring a few of them home so we did. We decorated them with tempera paint, and added googly eyes, ribbons and feathers…boy, those rocks have been transformed into little “rock stars”!
You can also take some glue and just add natural items you find on your next nature hike – those special moments are preserved with cute little creations to enjoy on your desk or windowsill – family moments that in the long run, mean the most!
