Sometimes in life do you find yourself following your nose?
Does a familiar scent send you to a childhood memory that is happy and joyful? I recently had this experience with a BAR OF SOAP at a farm stand gift store.
My children and I were walking about a country store and all of a sudden I had a whiff of my childhood…the thought of my German Oma (grandmother) came flooding back to me.
Whenever my Oma came to the States from Berlin, she would bring me a few goodies. She once brought me this soap to help me with my changing completion at just about the same age my girls are now.
I had forgotten about it – until now!
The soap she brought to me was Eggwhite Facial Soap from Belgium!
Timing couldn’t be better. Now that my daughters are just about the age when I want to teach them good habits when washing their faces. Today, it’s hard to find quality products. I’m so glad I have found it once again. My husband gifted me this box of soap today! He is a KEEPER!

This soap is from the Belgian countryside. Eiwit Zeep has been used by women in Europe for centuries. The soap is produced using pure eggwhites, chamomile and lecithin. Chamomile flowers are pressed into this soap to create a natural softening used since ancient times for conditioning and calming your skin. The oil’s soothing and hydrating aspects added with the protein-richness of fresh eggwhites maintains a clear, glowing complexion with everyday use.
How I use it: I work up a good lather, smooth it on the face and neck and let it sit for few minutes. You can almost feel the dirt and impurities being drawn from the pores naturally. Then rinse, a fresh glow appears on the skin. Gentle chamomile flower oil is what is left behind and the scent is FABULOUS! I moisturize after.
