Sharpie Pens Make a Comeback
I have to let you all in on a secret – Shhhhh….I’m ADDICTED to Sharpie Brand Markers. I love them, I love them, I love them!

My strange addiction started back in the ’80s when I began scribbling on my sneaker with one – I would jot down my crushes (prefer not to name them here!), my favorite bands (U2 and Police) or mathematical equations for a quiz (again, don’t TELL!)
My journey at a local college to become a teacher included buying endless supplies of Sharpies – WOW, a job that MAKES YOU USE THEM – YES, please!
Professors told us to go out and get a few black Sharpies to write on large sheets of paper to teach sentence structure and spelling to our students. I was in heaven writing with those. I even mixed it up and added many different colors! I’m crazy like that!
I fell in love with my Sharpie pens right then and there. It feels good telling the world this secret finally!
Fast forward 20 years and here I am at Staples and finding the new line of Sharpies my kind of heaven. My Tweens are completely transfixed with the new colors and assortments.
