My Droid Turbo Makes Me SuperMom

Juggling, yes juggling, it’s what parents do, moms and dads alike. When I was asked to switch from my other phone to Droid Turbo I was concerned that I wouldn’t be able to ‘adjust’ now, I can’t imagine going back! My Droid Turbo has so many features that I love but more importantly I rely on my Droid to help me juggle all of my roles and responsibilities as Mom.

Play Date, Birthday Party Where?

That’s right, whether after school or  before practice there is sure to be a birthday party some where at a location that I have never been to. No problem, just plug in the address and my Droid along with Google Maps get us there. The larger screen and the clear sounds makes it a perfect co-pilot.

Where’s The Remote?

Who had it last? Did you look under the couch? My Droid Turbo to the rescue. That’s right, this Mom was only an app away from using her cell phone to change the television channel, if I can figure it out, (it was super easy) you can too. Using the Xfinity app I can use my Droid Turbo to control not one but two tvs in our home.

I Left My Book at School

Yes, that happens A LOT in our house. It comes that time of day when I ask who’s got reading homework – when I hear “I left my book at school.” It’s time to hand over my Droid Turbo. That’s right all of our Kindle Books are also on my Droid Turbo – I think this is incredible, my kids, not always. (LOL)

We’re Bored.

“We’re bored.” Well let’s go for a walk and look for buried treasure. We downloaded the CacheSense app for going Geocaching and found over 70 ‘hidden treasures’ in our area. Geocaching is a great way to get outdoors with the kids and take them on a hiking, exploring adventure.

Last But Not Least

Driving. I find myself in the car with kids for hours a day sometimes. This is important time with the kids, it’s when we talk about our day, what’s coming next and what we are all up to. This is also time to influence them and lead by example, they’ll be driving before I know it.

This means not only setting my phone to a hands free setting but syncing it up with the bluetooth in my car. Distracted driving is a major problem with teens and adults alike, I love that the my Droid Trubo offers a Driving Mode – by setting this anyone that texts while I am driving will get an instant reply that I am driving. Not only is that cool, it’s safe.
