American Girl Store, New York Part IV

April 16, 2013 By: Bonniecomment

The last part of our American Girl Store series ends with something sweet.

We didn’t plan on reservations for tea, brunch, lunch or dinner – but you can!

TIP – Just be certain to make your reservations online in advance of your trip!

We did though, take a moment to visit Treats for Two – a small bakery inside the store on the 3rd level. Treats for Two offered girl and doll size baked items – hence the name!

Yummy Treats for You and Your Doll

There were cookies, cake pops, cupcakes, beverages and more. Our daughter was just excited to order at the counter all by herself!

TIP – Save this activity for right when you are about to leave – this makes exiting the store a little easier with the enticement of something sweet once you get outside!

Like with all the associates during our experience, we were greeted with a smile, not to mention the patience of a saint while waiting for our daughter to make her selection.

The is a small bistro table or two in the area if you do want to sit down for your snack.

TIP – Not hungry but want something to remember the experience? Right next to the bakery is a wall of Treats for Two TO GO – including candy favorites so you can take something home for you and your doll.

So many wonderful choices!

We left the store without even seeing everything during our visit – if you can even imagine that!

I wish I could tell you about the first floor – but we spent our time upstairs taking in as many American Girl experiences as we could.

We did pick up a souvenir for my niece while we were there – a cute mug and plate set with service for four – something the cousins could play with when we get back along with their dolls.

TIP – I asked for an extra shopping bag to put our gift in, just to make the gift giving experience even more special – the associate happily added one to our bag!
