This family friendly activity will come to your house or business and supply you with a ‘rockin’ good time! We have found a wonderful new way to celebrate a birthday and hope you enjoy our post.

We met the Hidden Treasure Mining Company at the Topsfield Fair this year where we sifted and shook until our treasures appeared!

You can too! The Hidden Treasure Mining Company will come your home or business – perfect for family parties – this is a totally unique out-of-the- box party!

They will bring their rustic water wheel, sifting station to your location to give you a real mining experience.  Now, doesn’t this ROCK?!

With 6 different bags to choose from.  We picked gem stones!  There were fossils, shells, sharks teeth and more to choose from.  So cool.

Here’s how it works

1. Child takes the bag over to the sluice (mining troth) and empties the contents of their bag in to the sifting box.
2. Then they lower the sifting box into the running water where their treasures are revealed.
3. The Hidden Treasure Mining Company also provides a color pamphlet for identifying your treasures.

A Great Idea Comes to Fruition

Business owner, Justin, loved that his daughter was passionate about gem stones, rocks and more. This hands-on dad created a family business around her interest and built the mining sluice to have the look and feel of one used in the 1800’s.

Our daughter loved her experience at the Hidden Treasure Mining Company and was thrilled when Miss Gail made a necklace for her from her favorite ‘hidden treasure’.
