Me & My Doll Accessory Envy!

March 16, 2013 By: Bonniecomment

 TOO CUTE ALERT

Our daughter loves her American Girl Doll(s) – yes, she is lucky enough to have more than one – some very generous older friends who were ready to move them on, passed them down to her – she plays everything with them, school, gymnastics, sleep overs and most of all dress up.
She loves it when they both have the same outfit or accessory to sport – so they look like twins, of course.

We made these simple matching headbands with some sticky felt shapes that we picked-up at Michael’s Craft stores and some matching satinheadbands from www.PunchPlacePlus.com

Gift Giving Idea!Note: these headbands are approximately $4 for 12 pieces – they make great birthday gifts for friends dolls too!

Simply remove the adhesive protectant from the felt shape and place it where you like on the headband – use a matching shape for the bottom of the headband so that the ‘sticky sides’ match up – this will keep them from sticking to your hair or the dolls – ouch. If there isn’t a matching felt shape for the bottom – opt to trace the image on a separate piece of felt and hot glue it to the headband.
Have fun with it!
