The electrifying new music and dance spectacular created by the producers and director of Riverdance, makes its East Coast debut in a limited engagement at Boston’s Citi Performing Arts Center Wang Theatre, playing Wed., March 26 through Sun., April 6.

Heartbeat of Home features the dynamic, vibrant components of traditional Irish, Latin and Afro-Cuban music and dance. The world-class cast of thirty-nine includes a ten-piece band creating a new and electrifying sound written by award-winning, Golden-Globe-nominated composer Brian Byrne.

Following its World Premiere engagement in Dublin, and a sold out run in China and Ireland, Heartbeat of Home comes to Boston on its first North American tour, which begins in January 2014 and will include Toronto, Chicago, Detroit, New York City (TBA) and Los Angeles (TBA).

Created by the Producers and Director of Riverdance, Heartbeat of Home is a brand new tantalizing, high octane, sexy, music and dance extravaganza. This heart –stopping tour de force features the dynamic, vibrant components of traditional Irish, Latin and Afro-Cuban music and dance. The Irish Mail on Sunday hails it as ‘an extraordinary highly imaginative show’ and the Irish Independent raves that this world-class cast of thirty-seven including a ten-piece band ‘had every heart in the theatre missing a beat’.

Heartbeat of Home plays at the Citi Performing Arts Center Wang Theatre Wednesday, March 26 – Sunday, April 6, 2014, for 16 performances
Tuesday through Saturday evenings at 8:00 pm
Matinees on Thursday, March 27 at 2:00 pm and Saturdays at 2:00 pm; and Sundays at 1:00 pm and 6:30 pm.
Tickets are priced at $35.00 – $109.00; all prices include a $3.75 facility fee per ticket
